Going healthy in and out (part 2)

Hi everyone!
I'm quite motivated by this "juice project" of mine because I think it's gonna be the start of a good habit.
Also I started my research already (me the queen of procrastination, doing my research the same day I posted about it! That's how motivated I am ^^)!
So yesterday I was watching Judy's daily vlogs (her youtube vlog channel), and she was talking about this juice that Benji (his youtube cooking channel) prepared with coconut, spinach and cinnamon if I remember it right, and I was hooked because I really looooove coconut. So I think that'll be my first juice to prepare this weekend for the "test drive" session.
I hope it'll go well, maybe I'll even add some more ingredients (strawberries or apples, somethig sweet).
Well, I'll keep you all posted on this and I'll also post some pictures =)

See you! Bye!

Going healthy in and out

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all going well and enjoying the sun (safely, by using SPF protection and sun glasses ^^).

With the arrival of the spring I've decided to make some changes in my lifestyle, especially the way I eat.
I've decided to take out the blender and start making some fresh juices, I probably won't make any right now, but I'll go to the fruit and veggies market this saturday and buy some fresh stuff to juice. I hope it'll help me feel better. I've been feeling quite tired and unhealthy, I need to change that.

I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes. Also if you want to see some juice recipes, I will update this post with some videos that I saw on youtube. Yes, I did my research ;)
So let's say this is to be continued...
Until then, have a wonderful day and appreciate the sunshine.

See you! Bye!

Seven Deadly Sins TAG!

Image found here => Modny 73 (the description is quite interesting too ^^)

Hey there! I hope u are all well.
I wanted to do this tag post that I saw on MrAJBx3's blog and thought it would be fun to do :)
So here goes!

1. GREED: What is your most Inexpensive / Expensive item?
A lip Gloss pencil in light beige from this new italian brand Kiko, I discover in early December and love all of there products that I own so far. It costed about 2€. (sorry for my dry hands, I actually have to use vaseline as hand cream as they're so dry :'( )

The most expensive would be My Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum,

(photo borrowed from Elle.com ;))
I'm not sure if this does anything, but I feel that my face looks better in the morning after I use it than when I don't but I probably won't be repurchasing because it's pricey!

I do need to find a replacement though because I feel like my face needs a little extra at night.

2.WRATH: What Beauty Products do you have a Love/Hate relationship with?
Well it's not really a beauty product but it's my Tea tree oil. That thing has a weird smell, it's quite agressive for someone who isn't used to it, but it does the job so... I also bought the Tea tree oil facial cleanser from the Body Shop and it smells the same.
(picture borrowed from The Body Shop USA's website ;))

I've been using it for months now but I know I'll never get used to that "sting" that comes from the smell, makes my eyes run and all.

What product has been the hardest to get?
I'd say it's the Revlon Lip Butters. I've head good and bad about them but couldn't test them out yet because I live in France and we don't have it here yet :'(, I wish I could do a swap with someone to get a try because am tired of searching and I'm not a very patient person.

3.GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
I would say my Sleek Pout polish

and my grapefruit Lip conditioner from The Body Shop.

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
Hmmmmm I'd say primers, I have the Porefessional

I haven't been using this because it's an extra step and I don't feel like it helps my makeup stay on, it does erase the appearance of pore though. Maybe I should try to find something else. (Edit: I did find something else but can't really review it yet, as it's my first time using it so I'll be biased by the "new stuff effect" ^^ It's MAC Fix+ btw...review coming up next ;) )

5.PRIDE: What Beauty Product gives you the most confidence?
I would say that it's my eyeshadows

, no matter which one I choose I always try to choose wisely and according to my mood, I also try to keep it interesting by changing colours everyday and by trying different kinds of applications. When I was a little girl, kids at school would laugh at me and tell me that I had big eyes and I would always feel bad about it and even cry to my mom and ask her why she made me look so weird ^^. But now I think it's my favorite. :)

6.LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

I'd say a kind heart, but you can't really know that at first glance. So I would say kind eyes (if that makes any sense ^^) a stong jawline and he should be tall. :)

7.ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

I would say MAC liquid and powder foundations in NC43 and also a Sigma brush set as I'm in love with brush sets and they seem amazing. I also love MAC pigments ;)

Ok, so that's it for now, this a long post sorry.
This is a response to Discovering Beauty's post and I tag whoever reads this, feel free to answer in the comments or to put a link to your blog posts. :)

See you! Bye!

Favourite facial mask and a product I have been loving lately

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well.
Today µI wanted to share a facial mask that I like to do, I'm a bit lazy during the week but during weekends I like to do them.
Sometimes I even do one in the morning then another in the evening to give my skin a boost for the week, if that makes any sense. :)
So I found this one on the website http://www.becomegorgeous.com/
 and here it goes:
Oatmeal, Lemon Juice and Apple Facial

  • Trust the healing and cleansing effect of these natural ingredients and combine them into a magical treatment. Use a blender to mix ½ cup of cooked oatmeal, ½ apple chopped into tiny chunks and 2 tsp of organic lemon juice. Cleanse your skin first then apply the mask either only on the delicate sections or all over your face. Leave the treatment on for 15 minutes then wash it off with lukewarm water.

  • I usually do it without the apple (I prefer eating my apples, thank you very much :) but I tried it once and it was really nice, I also tried substituting the apple with some fresh tomatoes and it worked wonders.
I don't like to use tomatoes on their own as I found that it can sting a bit on my sensitive skin and it also ends up feeling itchy so I can't keep it on as long as I should. But with the oatmeal in the mix I don't get that problem and my skin feels squeaky clean and soft afterwards.

Tell me what you think of it if anyone tries it and also please share your own recipes as I like to switch things up and try new masks every one in a while.

The next thing I'm gonna tell you about is a product that I got back in December from Sephora and I found myself using it almost every day to do my makeup especially when I'm not at home or when I need to get ready fast, for example for work. It's a Cargo palette. I didn't really know this brand before buying this palette but I've bought some more items from the brand since I'm really liking it.

So as you can see it's a neutral colour palette, it might not look like much compared to other brands but I like it because it has these little +'s that I can't ignore :)

First: the colours are neutral but not matte, I'm not sure you will be able to see it on the photos but some of these colours (the outer corner and lid) have a slight shimmer going on, it's subtle enough that I can wear it at work but it has that brightening effect that I really really need in the morning, if you know what I'm talking about (I wake up at 6am every morning >_<').

The browbone colour is completely matte and I like that because I think that having shimmer under your brows in a work environement like mine can be considered as a bit OTT. Also it's very blendable and I can also use it as an inner corner colour to give me that open and awake look.

The lid colour now is quite special because it has these shimmers that I hadn't noticed at first but I quite like them. The texture is easily blendable and buildable too, you can use it as a slight wash of colour, in which case you see the shimmer a bit more, or you can "pack it" on the lid. With a good primer and base this will last all day and it will look vibrant. Sometimes I don't bother using the outer corner colour because I like to keep it as simple as possible. I think this colour would also suit any kind of complexion. I'm an nc42/43 btw.

I don't usually use a crease colour so I use this as a lid colour, I use it on my entire lid just like the lid colour above, it gives the same effect but a bit darker because it has a sort of peachy undertone. I also use it as an outer lid colour when using light gold eyeshadows such as the browbone colour on the wet'n wild "Walking on Eggshells" Palette.

I will add a picture for reference so you can see what I'm talking about. It's a combination that I like.

This is the outer corner colour. I usually use it as outercorner colour but most of the time I use it as a crease colour, when I use the lid colour of the same palette, they blend very well together visually and also the colour combination is quite interesting.

When using this palette I usually curl my lashes with a heated lash curler (just to make sure that the curl will hold all day) and my actual favorite mascara: the Lash Architect 4D by Loréal.
It has those tiny fibers that make your lashes look super loooooong. :)

This is one of the looks I did using the palette, I hope you guys will like it. Feel free to suggest more look ideas and colour combinations, I can't wait to try new looks.
See you soon with some new looks, until then take care.

    See you! Bye!
